Eastern Constructors is a student group of the Eastern Michigan University Construction Management program. This website provides information on activities and resources for students in their academic and future professional careers.
We will not be collecting dues for this school year, but we encourage you to join and participate in various activities throughout the year. 2025 Fall EMU CM Alumni Summit
Date: April 1st, 2025, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Location: EMU’s main campus in the Student Center Room 352, 900 Oakwood, Ypsilanti, MI, 48197.
Details: The Alumni Summit is a great networking and mentoring activity for students to gain exposure to the industry. There will be a discussion on scholarships and other helpful information. Bring your resumes as well so industry experts can provide feedback!
The Eastern Constructors Dr. John Reposa “Hard Hat Ceremony” will be recognizing Winter 2025 Construction Management Major & Minor graduates at EMU on Wednesday, April 16th!
The event will be held in-person and online in conjunction with the CNST 450 capstone presentations.
When: Wednesday, April 16th, 2025
Schedule: 5:30 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Presentations will be conducted by students with opportunities for other students and alumni to ask the presenters questions. Dinner will be provided at 7:00 P.M., followed by a guest speaker. The ceremony will then congratulate graduating students individually, and they can tell us about their past stories and future plans. We should end by 8:30 - 9:00 P.M.

The hard hats will be distributed and are suggested to be worn at the EMU graduation commencement ceremony. If you have any questions, please let me know abogedai@emich.edu.
